Home Delivery Service

Home delivery services are now available throughout the Upper Hunter Library Network. Members who live in the Upper Hunter Shire who are existing members of the Home Library Service are eligible to receive deliveries by contacting their local branch.


Our new extended home library service is for customers who live in the Muswellbrook and Denman townships and have a current library membership. This service is available to members of all ages however a guarantor is require to place orders on behalf of members aged under 18 years. 
We can deliver personally selected items to you at your home address if you meet the following criteria:

  • You are a current library member (if you are not you can join online here).
  • You are unable to visit the Muswellbrook or Denman branches
  • You live in the Muswellbrook or Denman townships.
  • You are eligible to loan under the Upper Hunter Library Network Membership Policy and Upper Hunter Library Overdue Returns Policy.

How do I access this service?

Fill out the contact form via our website or contact the Muswellbrook (6543 1913) or Denman (6547 2208) branch by phone.

How does it work?

  • A librarian will review your submission and select appropriate items. Up to 10 items will be selected.
  • A librarian will email or call you when your items are ready to book a delivery time and date.
  • To protect the health and safety of our library staff and our customers, deliveries will be zero contact. This means we will leave your items in a specified outdoor area or on your doorstep, then we will move back to a safe distance and give you a call to let you know your delivery has been made.
  • Returns may be booked for collection during scheduled deliveries or can be returned at your local branches return chute or designated return area. 
  • Items will be delivered in plastic bags – please use these bags when returning your items.
  • Returned items will be cleaned and quarantined when they arrive back at the library to ensure that we are protecting staff and customers.
  • Any breach of social distancing guidelines will result in immediate cancellation of delivery services
