| OBJECTIVES: |
| To determine guidelines for the display of information in the form of posters, notices and brochures in the Libraries. |
| |
| POLICY STATEMENT: |
| The following Guidelines will cover the acceptance or rejection of information materials to be displayed: |
| 1. To be generally accepted:
Items from Local Community Groups within the Region;
Items from Government Departments and Government sponsored bodies;
Items from other Public or State Libraries;
Other announcements of a cultural, educational or recreational nature.

| 2. All items listed in a) to d) shall be accepted provided that they are relevant to or of general interest to the community. |
| 3. To be rejected:
Announcements of events and activities which are solely for the purpose of profit;
Notices from individuals offering services for profit;
Political or religious items or announcements of a sectarian nature;
Items of a personal nature;
Items that require too much space.

| 4. All display of material will be at the discretion of the Regional Library Manager. |
| 5. Items on display should be tasteful and in accordance with the Library d¨Ścor. |
